I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Radford University, where my passion for helping others first began. This love for social work inspired me to pursue my Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University, which I recently completed. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). During my training, I conducted therapy groups focused on depression and anxiety and co-facilitated a healthy relationships group for teenagers. Additionally, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which equips me to support clients working through the effects of trauma.

About Me

As a therapist, I believe that building a strong connection with my clients is the key to creating meaningful change. My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free, and supportive space where you feel empowered to take on life’s challenges and build the skills you need to overcome them.

I specialize in helping people navigate trauma, depression, and anxiety, and I use tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psycho education to help you better understand yourself and your experiences. My sessions are laid-back, with some humor, and sometimes even a few bad words—but always grounded in respect and compassion. I am direct when it’s needed, but I’ll always deliver honesty with kindness.

I speak both Spanish and English and love working with all types of individuals ages eight and up. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelming emotions or trying to move forward from a tough situation, I’m here to support you in a way that feels approachable, encouraging, and down-to-earth.

When I'm not in the office

When I’m not in the office, I am usually spending quality time with my daughter, finding new ways to have fun together. I also enjoy being with family and friends, trying out different foods, and exploring unique places in the area. On the flip side, I love a good lazy day, relaxing at home, and spending time with my dog and daughter. Whether I’m out making memories or simply unwinding, I cherish the balance between adventure and rest.
