About Me

As a mother, I have a heartfelt passion for supporting children in finding their voice. Whether we’re creating an abstract painting when words feel too big, or slowing things down to make room for safety and expression, I understand how overwhelming emotions can be at any age. While I enjoy helping children develop emotional understanding and confidence, my work also extends to supporting young adults and adults as they navigate a variety of life challenges.

My own journey with grief has shaped my desire to walk alongside teens, young adults, and adults navigating loss, life transitions, and seasons of change. I value holding space for clients of all ages as they sort through their emotions and discover what supports them moving forward.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and expressive arts techniques to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healing. I also offer optional faith-based counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process.

In sessions, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a calm presence. You can expect a space where your emotions are welcomed, your strengths are highlighted, and your goals shape the work we do together. Whether you prefer a spiritually integrated approach or a more traditional therapeutic style, I tailor our session to what feels most meaningful to you.

Above all, I’m committed to learning what brings you joy, and if it feels out of reach right now, we’ll work together to rediscover it.

The Sun Will Rise

When I'm not in the office

Outside the office, you can usually find me with my family or soaking up the sun. I’m an artist at heart, so I love spending time creating, painting, and finding beauty in the world around me. I also enjoy staying active, whether that’s playing softball, getting in a good workout, or spending time picking up seashells on the beach. Faith is a meaningful part of my life, and I value moments of connection with God, my friends, and a really good cold brew coffee. These simple joys help me stay grounded, inspired, and present both in and outside the therapy room.
