Before pursuing counseling, I spent more than 15 years serving individuals and families through nonprofit leadership and community-based work. Those experiences deeply enriched my understanding of human connection, deepened my desire to help people in a more personal way, and ultimately led me to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

My foundational clinical training has included extensive coursework and experiences in comprehensive assessment, professional ethics, evidence-based treatment approaches, and multicultural counseling dynamics. This academic framework equips me to support clients from diverse backgrounds through structured, empathetic, and culturally competent care.

About Me

I believe that every person has a story worth hearing and a life that holds inherent value, purpose, and potential for growth. My passion is walking alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward healing and hope. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and understood.

During my clinical training, I explored distinct, evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other trauma-informed practices. I lean into these approaches to help individuals better understand their core experiences, develop healthy coping skills, build long-term resilience, and create meaningful change.

Whether you are moving through a stressful transition, trying to balance relationship difficulties, navigating questions about identity, or seeking personal growth, I look forward to partnering with you. Together, we will uncover your natural strengths and establish actionable tools tailored to your unique journey.

Healing & Hope

When I'm not in the office

When I’m not in the office providing care, you can usually find me spending time with my dog, family, and friends. I love staying active by running, enjoying the outdoors, and serving in my community. For relaxation and personal insight, I enjoy reading or listening to podcasts that focus primarily on the deep connections between faith, purpose, and emotional well-being.
