No matter the Challenge

Even the healthiest relationships can hit moments where you look at each other and think, How did we get here? Maybe you’re having the same fight over and over, maybe the silence between you feels heavier than it used to, or maybe you just miss feeling close. It’s not a sign you’ve failed—you may just need a little support to get you back to where you want to be.
At Solace Therapeutic Services, we help couples find their way back to each other. Using evidence-based, attachment-focused approaches, we work with you to untangle what’s getting in the way, rebuild trust, and create a connection that actually feels good to come home to.
Whether you’re navigating a rough season, trying to heal from a breach of trust, or simply want to feel more like a team again—you don’t have to figure it out alone. We’ll walk that road with you.
We draw from two of the most research-backed approaches to couples therapy:
💞 Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – EFT helps you and your partner move out of reactive cycles and into deeper emotional connection. We focus on the underlying attachment needs that fuel your patterns—so you can feel safer, more secure, and more connected in your relationship.
🧠 Gottman Method – Using tools from the Gottman Method, we’ll help you understand your communication dynamics, build friendship and trust, and learn practical tools for managing conflict in healthier, more constructive ways.
Couples therapy at Solace is structured, supportive, and judgment-free. We don’t take sides. Instead, we hold space for both of you to feel seen and understood—while also challenging the patterns that keep you stuck.
Each session is customized to your relationship’s specific needs, but often includes:
We welcome all couples—including married, unmarried, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse couples, and those navigating parenting, blended families, or major life transitions. If you're committed to growth, we’re here to guide the process.
Sessions are available in-person in our Holly Springs, NC office, or virtually across North Carolina.
We offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a feel for us, ask questions, and see if we’re the right fit. From there, your therapist will guide you through a collaborative intake process designed to set you up for success.
Typically, this begins with a joint session together, followed by individual sessions with each partner, and then coming back together for ongoing couples sessions. This approach helps us understand your goals, patterns, and strengths—so we can tailor our work to what matters most for your relationship.
📋 We are an out-of-network practice and can provide superbills for reimbursement if desired.
